Shyam Canada at your fingertips
For many years Shyam Canada has become an industry leader in distributing fine giftware and home furnishings. With exportation across the globe, we have introduced a multitude of products in line with the current trends and styles found all over the world. Being a member of the Canadian Gift and Tableware Association, allows us to stay true to our roots and contribute to the Canadian giftware and home furnishings industry in a meaningful way. The showroom and main office is located in Mississauga, Ontario but our sales force can be found right across Canada from Newfoundland to British Columbia.
Our success
The success of Shyam Canada began early on in 2007 with the introduction of brassware, which included items such as candle holders, planters, and solid brass animal figurines. Gradually, soapstone, wood, iron, and aluminum products were launched. In 2007, crackled glass giftware was introduced with a huge success. Not surprisingly, this eclectic collection of giftware allows Shyam Canada to satisfy those clients with even the most particular of tastes.
Our expansion
The expansion into home furnishings has contributed to the tremendous growth of Shyam Canada. The addition of fine linen and cotton products has been well received, especially the furnishings that are pattern matched including placemats, runners, cushion covers, towels, etc. With exceptional success, Shyam Canada has been able to create our own unique private label – Cotton Concepts – which can be found in all sorts of retail locations such as gift, pharmacies, hardware, mass merchandisers, discount, variety, and much more. The great demand for matching furnishings has enabled us to subsequently provide greater selections of designs, colors and sizes.
As the clientele rapidly expands, so has the product line. Within one year, the newly launched Christmas line has quickly become an icon for Shyam Canada. Now, with over 1500 Christmas products and counting, it continues to bring in an abundance of selection ranging from décor, matching home furnishings, floral and dining-ware.
